Fine de Bretagne Leizour — Three expressions, one shared passion for the Breton apple

Fine de Bretagne is the art of showcasing the full richness of apple growing and our orchards. That is its raison d’être. The Fine de Bretagne Leizour range pays tribute to Gilles Leizour, who introduced this expertise to the distillery in the 1990s, using an old copper column still, nearly a century old, and personally cultivating the apples from the surrounding orchards. A beautiful story of transmission, as his daughter Anne Leizour-Roussier continues this work alongside him to master the subtleties of this craft.

The range today includes three expressions with complementary profiles, offering an aromatic intensity as fruity as it is indulgent: the Blanche Leizour, the Fine de Bretagne Réserve and the Fine de Bretagne XO. Our apples come from AOC orchards located within 50 km of the distillery, mainly grown organically. Fine de Bretagne has held an AOC since 2015, a recognition that the distillery actively contributed to building alongside the association Les 17 Hermines. And if you have never tried Fine de Bretagne in a cocktail — it is time to give it a go.

Pommeau de Bretagne AOC completes the range: born from the blending of freshly pressed apple must and Fine de Bretagne according to the ancient mutage method, it matures in barrels for a minimum of 12 months. Smooth, fruity, lightly sweet — an aperitif of great sincerity.
