Our values: independence, craftsmanship and responsibility
Founded in 1900, Distillerie Warenghem has remained what it has always been: an independent, family-owned distillery, free in its choices, rooted in its territory and driven by a passion for craftsmanship. Our values guide each of our decisions, from the selection of raw materials to the crafting of our products and the welcome of our visitors.
Independence & family roots
For over 100 years, Distillerie Warenghem has cultivated its independence. This allows us to place quality before volume, and artisanal excellence before short-term imperatives. From distillation to bottling, every step takes place on-site, in Lannion, in the Côtes-d’Armor. From the first drop to the last bottle, everything remains in our hands.
Quality & artisanal expertise
Every Warenghem spirit is the fruit of expertise passed down from generation to generation, without compromise. The distillery has held the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant label since 2019 — a distinction awarded by the French state to companies whose artisanal and industrial expertise is of excellence. We are proud to be the first whisky distillery in France to receive this label.
Responsibility & local commitment
At Distillerie Warenghem, we are aware of our broader responsibility: towards our customers, our employees, our local partners and our environment. Our commitments translate into concrete choices: promoting short supply chains, supporting our agricultural suppliers towards more sustainable practices, contributing to the local Breton economy and making decisions with the long term in mind.
People at the heart
The distillery is above all about passionate people. Distillers, guides, sales staff — all sharing the same conviction: that the finest spirits are born from good work, curiosity and respect for the living world. It is this collective spirit that drives us forward.
